What an awesome find!!! If your adventures take you anywhere close to Wabash, Indiana, seek out the locals.
Welcoming, kind, wonderful, humble and awesome.

My husband and I are always looking for places like this... very rarely are we disappointed, but I have to say this was... one of those times. Service was not good, very slow and inattentive. Food was ok. It is smoking, which we are not smokers, but other attributes can override that...in most cases. Not this time!
We love supporting local businesses, and I don't like giving bad reviews, but I have to speak out...especially after reading the other reviews listed here. I definitely don't agree them! -

I love local establishments, especially long-running ones with stories so I hate to give 2 stars. But this was just a miss for me. A frozen patty on the burger, pulled chicken was really dry, and service so so. I'm sure it's a fine watering hole and wish the owners no ill will, just plan to stop elsewhere on my trips through Wabash.

Dye's. This has been an end of the week tradition as of late. Let's get one thing straight... This is a bar. Your going to have the usual small town Indiana bar scene here. Old Harley riding codgers griping about whatever at the bar with music blaring. The product. Holy smokes- excuse the pun. WE SMOKE MEATS HERE! The ribs are some of the best I've eaten in a loooong time. Ribs, chicken, brisket oh my. For a small town, this is a gem. I challenge anyone to eat at Dye's and leave disappointed. The proteins are way above par with standard accompaniments. Imports as well as the usual domestics. They make regular announcements inside as to what is coming off the pit. I would recommend Dye's to anyone who is serious about pit bbq smoked meat. Almost forgot. The sauces are hand made in house. Go get your eat on.

Great family run business. Sat next to the owners family at the bar and was served by the man himself. The food was cooked right in front of us nice fresh and HOT. We had the baby back ribs and the brisket sandwich with a few appetizers and a few drinks. We travel through this area a lot, this is the first time I have been here. Will definitely be back!!
